Biography
Rhon started on piano at age 6 with a baton wielding instructor that forced him to a "self-help" approach to music. At 12 his Dad gave into Rhon's persistence and bought him what would be his career, an electric guitar. Rhon never looked back. He performed on regional TV at 14 with his original songs with his guitar instructors Vic Cook and Dan Dortey playing guitar and upright bass. After performing in Central Indiana until the age of 18 Rhon headed for The Southwest Guitar Conservatory in San Antonio Texas. He toured the USA and took a gig with Priscilla Engle in 1989 and co-wrote "Gonna Follow You" with Paul Marino for Priscilla's "Ageless Love" CD. This led Rhon to start his company Rockin' Productions. Rhon is currently working on a new CD and instructing music to over 50 students a week. Rockin' Productions is also a retail music store and offers limited production services.
